1. Content & Characteristic
New-conceptual smart bearing combining the advantages of conventional bearings
An air-foil bearing is one of special bearing supporting high speed rotating shaft, and supports a shaft with thin air film. This bearing has good stability at high speed, but has unstability at low speed.
However, a magnetic bearing has good stability at low speed and can control the supporting force, but the volume of its control system should grow and its power consumption is increasing at high speed.
As combining the advantages of these 2 bearings, our smart bearing has high stability, low friction and minimum power consumption at full speed range.
This technology can control rotating shaft vibration even under a external impact.
