1. Content & Characteristic
KIST solar cell center has developed a method to make organic solar cells responding to wide spectra of the sunlight by selective positioning of organic dye molecules in the mesoporous TiO2 film without high-temperature heating.

2. Scientific Value
This approach is an important step toward capturing a greater proportion of the sun’s spectrum for generating more power using the organic solar cells.
3. Economic Effect
We expect low-cost highly efficient organic solar cells could be realized after further improvement in the optomechanical and structural properties of the cells.
