The Advanced Materials Research Division is developing AI-based materials design technologies, nanomaterial-based extreme environmental materials, disaster response materials, photonics materials, electronic materials, and soft materials and is leading the drive to create materials technologies which are of significant benefit to our society, such as sensor system technologies using advanced materials.
